KLN Family Brands / Tuffy’s Pet food is responsible for the formulation and manufacturing of the following foods:

  • Nutrisource
  • Nutrisource Element Series
  • Pura Vida
  • Tuffy’s Pet Food
  • Supreme Pet Food

They also manufacture a handful of candy and snack brands for humans.

When asked by the Pet Nutrition Alliance for information about their formulation and manufacturing practices, they did not respond. They do own their own facilities.

They do not have a qualified nutritionist on staff. KLN does consult with an unnamed PhD in Animal Nutrition, whose contributions to the actual formulation of the foods is unclear.
